CONCERT CHOIR

The Concert Choir, under the direction of Martin Green, is the largest choral ensemble at Citrus College and has been successfully performing a vast repertoire of classical and popular choral music for over fifty years. They have presented works such as Beethoven's Ninth Symphony Finale, Mozart's Regina Coeli, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Haydn's The Seasons, and Brahms' Requiem among others, often performed with symphony orchestra. They have worked under such esteemed guest conductors as Myung Whun Chung, Music Director of Opera Bastille in Paris, William Hall, and the late Howard Swan.

This group offers students the opportunity to participate in thrilling musical performances on a larger scale. Additionally, they are at the forefront of choral performance techniques, combining multi-media presentations with vocal arrangements, including A Night of Music from Film and Sounds, Shapes and Shades, a join venture with members of the Citrus Dance Department and the Sierra Wind Symphony.
