JOHN VAUGHAN

John holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and is a busy Director/Choreographer with over 150 productions to his credit. He co-directed and choreographed the acclaimed West Coast Premiere of the John Caird/Stephen Schwartz musical CHILDREN OF EDEN. His theme park shows have been seen from Knott’s Berry Farm to Seaworld Texas. He has directed all in-house shows for the L.A. County Fair since 1991 including their 75th Anniversary Celebration and the 2002 extravaganza "AMERICA ROCKS". John has directed or choreographed many large corporate shows including events for WonderWare Software, NBC, The Broadway Department Stores, Mattel Corporation, Dick Clark Productions and Ogden Entertainment as well as international projects in Tokyo and Buenos Aires. John is a full-time faculty member for Citrus College and has choreographed the acclaimed Citrus Singers for the past ten years. Recent projects included directing and choreographing “The Will Rogers’ Follies” at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista and “Dreamgirls” at the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre.

DIANE WOODWARD

Diane Woodward is the Producer/Director of the Citrus Dance Company and full-time professor of Dance. Diane began her professional dance career at the age of 15 working for Agnes de Mille in “Carousel”. She danced at Radio City Music Hall and continued her career on Broadway, film, and television. Diane has worked with famous choreographers such as, Michael Kidd, Matt Mattox, Herbert Ross, Peter Gennaro, and Michael Bennett. In Los Angeles she continued working at the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera, and television. Her teaching career began at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, She went on to earn a MFA in dance and taught at CSULA, CSUF, Pepperdine Univ. Rio Hondo and Chaffey Colleges prior to starting the dance program here at Citrus College. Diane has choreographed in Europe, the East coast, and Hollywood productions. She now directs and choreographs for the Citrus Dance Company.
